The Prom Night
The Prom that was and yes it was one of the best Tiger nights I have ever been to. 130 players, officials and supporters enjoyed a superb meal in the den, complimented by great surroundings, good company and pleasant music. There wasn’t a grumble to be heard. Life memberships were presented to Ray and Pat Kelly and Ella Stokes and Mitch Webb were awarded the King and Queen of the prom.

Volunteer of the Week:
This volunteer just happens to be a board member, sponsor, businessman and great person to boot. Chris Wright is part owner of TCM, on boards relating to education, airconditioning, and of course Hobart Football Club ( for in excess of ten years). Chris was the man behind the new airconditioning in the den last year and is consistently there when change is happening. You never need to ask, if Chris has a free moment HFC get it, you could be sitting on the gate on gameday and along will come Chris to assist or there is an extra pair of hands in the bar, or at the barbeque. 10 years is a long commitment to any organisation Chris has given the Hobart Football Club and many community organisations considerable assistance.
Last week the players and board agreed to look forward to 2016 and commence preparation for then. While the Reserves succumbed to pressure the day’s outing showed considerable improvement by both teams .We also congratulate Lindisfarne on their Saturdays fundraising initiative to support GI Cancer research.
