Match Report:

We keep on having the weekends that we don’t want but a turnaround is inevitable and hopefully really soon.  Our Reserves are still confident of making the final five and of being a serious contender in the finals so watch this space. This weeks results

RESERVES  Hobart 2.1  7  Claremont 20.15  135
Goalkickers  D Zimick, D Colebeck
Best players  D Colbeck, D Woodcock, M Amos, A Holzinger, C Kent, R Barrow

It was great to see the return of Dane Colbeck back after surgery on both ankles and a season on the sidelines.  He showed enough form on Saturday that tells us he will soon be back at his best.

Seniors  Hobart 3.5  23  Claremont 29.25  199
Goalkickers  S Reeves 2, B Goninon
Best Players  T Dennis, D Huxley, M Nichols, J Hart, L Sullivan, M Beck

It was good to see Jayson Hart find some good form in only his third senior game, hopefully this week will see the return of Josh Dykes and Dane Colbeck.

THE PROM NIGHT

Yes it’s on this Saturday night so if you don’t have a ticket I feel sorry for you as I have witnessed the preparations and this event will be a beauty. I have even dusted off the formal attire for this one.

Match v Lindisfarne – GI Cancer Fundraiser

Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancers have the lowest survival rates and are the most common form of cancer in Australia. In memory of Mick Miller who lost his short battle with Oesophageal Cancer in February this year, the LINDISFARNE FOOTBALL CLUB will be raising funds for the GI Cancer Institute by collecting donations at the game and holding a raffle. We encourage our supporters to donate to this initiative!

This Week’s  Sponsor

K&D_Mitre10_LogoK&D Mitre 10.  K&D have come on board this year and along with sponsorship have also sponsored a player being  Sam Reeves.  Have you been to K&D lately because they have recently increased their hardware range significantly and in the case of the Hobart store K& Dcompleted  refurbished it.  The shopping is so much easier than before you will be pleasantly surprised.
