A couple of weeks off have been rejuvenating for our men’s teams. Whilst Finals look off the cards for the Seniors there’s plenty of improvement left in this group and we’ll be looking to take some positives from the season still. The Reserves sit percentage outside the top five, currently in seventh and will be looking to pick their early season form back up and have a crack at the finals. Meanwhile the Under 19s will be hopeful of welcoming a number of ‘young stars’ back from injury and look like they can be very competitive come finals time.
The Women’s side has the bye this week, so they’ll be looking to next week’s clash with Kingborough. The girls showed plenty of fight in last week’s clash with cross-town rivals North Hobart, which might not be reflected in the final score. But the good signs were there. Best players were Molly Browning, Danielle Woolley, Emma Warn, Fiona Langford, Leah Smith, and Annie Wong.
This Sunday will see the TCA Ground hosting the Master Rules gala days, there are games at 10.30am, 12pm and 1.30pm. We encourage you to get along and support our Master Rules side, the Pigskin Warriors take on the Lindisfarne Blues at 12pm.
Best of luck to all our sides playing tomorrow, and welcome to everyone who is present for the 1999 Premiership Reunion. We hope you have a great day at the TCA! Eat ‘em alive you Tigers!
