A really interesting week this week for the Tigers. The Girls lifted and had one of their strongest games yet – testing out the South East Suns at home. Certainly was a great start to the day. Following this, the Reserves had a crunch game against rivals Claremont, a match that would likely shape the side’s finals hopes. They stood up when it came time and battled out a gutsy win to get up by 17 points.

The Seniors fought really hard and in the end, kicking for goals came back to haunt the Tigers. Seven goals, twenty-two against a quality side which rolled the reigning Premiers just last week. The colts played a stand-alone match at Lindisfarne first up, not putting in their best performance. Rest assured they’ll bounce back and learn from the game.

This week sees the Seniors and Colts have Byes (see details below for other games).

The Players are hosting a BBQ for supporters after training this Thursday Night from 6.45pm. Valued volunteers and our supporters are encouraged to attend.

A huge thank you to John X and his fellow legends of revue for putting on a great night! They put on a great show for almost 100 people, we look forward to putting together a HFC group to attend his upcoming play ‘The Club’.

The Hobart FC have started advertising for our new Senior coach! For those that didn’t see it in the Mercury Newspaper on Saturday, We look forward to talking to potential coaches that are keen to coach our great club over the coming weeks.
