Season Launch (Tomorrow Night)

St Pats Practice Match

The senior squads last practice game of the pre season vs St Pats was an important game to put all our pre season work into practice and gain confidence going into round 1! The boys were treating this like a grand final of the pre season and they were switched on right from the start of the game!

St Pats came out fighting in the first quarter in wet and windy conditions and our backline certainly gelled well straight away with Brock Daniels taking control across half back early! Our Senior coach Alex Gilmour was getting pretty good delivery and was accurate with his kicking at goal. The onballers in Jayden Charlton, the Adams brothers and Hayden Triffett were solid all game and got plenty of the ball in greasy conditions!

Overall the boys had a solid hit out with there fitness overpowering the opposition and we certainly took some positives out of the game leading into round 1! Gerard Lynd ran well and was very consistent all game and was our best player on the day. Another great trip up to Launceston which the boys certainly strive towards playing every pre season!
