Last week saw a massive win for the Under 19s over Lindisfarne with an after the siren goal from Aidan Donovan getting the Tigers over the line! Well done to our young cubs on such a spirited and contested win! Unfortunately the Reserves put in a poor performance, and never really got going. On the other hand, an undermanned Senior side with injuries to a number of key players put up a spirited fight. A big third quarter gave us a chance but the boys never gave up, holding the two blues to a 27 point victory.
This week’s games at the TCA Ground, hope to see you there to support the mighty Hobart Tigers. In exciting news a couple of more Tiger Cubs (u19s) earning their senior debuts, well done and good luck to Lachie Andrews and Luke Kreune
Saturday 29 May at the TCA Ground v Dodges Ferry
Under 19s – 10am
Reserves – 12pm
Eat em alive boys.
This is only four weeks away and will be a great day – contact President Josh Munting to RSVP.
You don’t want to miss out.
Vinnies Winter Drive
We would like to invite everyone to join us in supporting Vinnies Winter Drive.
Our Life Member Sue Walker manages a store on behalf of Vinnies and advises that all stores need winter clothing as soon as possible
In past years we have had blanket collections. This year it is clothing in particular, there is a shortage of men’s clothing. Of course, blankets will also be appreciated
Naturally, the clothing needs to be clean and not damaged.
A bin will be available downstairs in the den this week only. On Tuesday & Thursday from 5.00pm till 6.30 pm and all day on Saturday and all stores will happily accept your donations.
