60 Years On – Hobart Forever
60 years later, last week saw the club celebrating its 1963 Premiership with ten players in attendance, two apologies for our reunion at the Black Buffalo hotel. Sadly a further eight of the 20 are no longer with us, and we missed each of your presence.
Remarkably the club won three flags in five years, and five in a decade

We’re hoping to streamline the way we managed and attract volunteers to support various areas of the club such as bar, canteen and football operations.
To make it easier to find volunteers to support our fundraising and operations, we’ve created an email and SMS communication group. Please spend five minutes and signup to our volunteer database to make it easier for our volunteer coordinators to run this wonderful club.

ANSWERING THE CALL
Recently, the Hobart Football Club was in crisis due to lack of players. The Club made a public plea to arms, with many new and previous players answering the call, including coach Will Perry & assistant coach Darryn Perry. Quickly playing numbers swelled to 40+, and the Club had to make the tough decision to field a Reserves side only, a decision widely supported by players & supporters alike.
The “vibe” around the Club is now bubbling.
Our loyal sponsors also answered the call. Respecting the Club’s decision for a Reserves only side for 2023, our loyal sponsors are once again supporting our Club. The HFC greatly appreciates the valuable financial support by our sponsors, without who’s backing the Club would not survive. Behind our major sponsors our caring people, and it is time for players and supporters of the HFC to give back to these people and their businesses. The Club strongly urges all of you to support our sponsors when next buying a car, getting a takeaway meal, building a house/office, getting legal advice, going to the doctor/chemist, selecting a bottle-shop/counter meal, or buying fresh apple cider online or at pubs & clubs.
