JAMIESON SMALLEY – HOBART FOOTBALL CLUB WOMENS MASTERS COACH 2026
Jamma joins the Hobart Football Club as the Womens Masters Coach for the 2026 season.
I’m 54, married and have 3 adult sons. I have been teaching PE for the last 30 years and has had a variety of coaching positions/roles along the way.
I want to acknowledge the outstanding work of former coach Trey Ramritu over the past two years, whose dedication and leadership have laid a strong foundation for the program. My goal is to build on that success, continuing to strengthen team culture, skills, and enjoyment of the game.
I already have a connection with the club as my wife Annie plays for the Women’s Masters side and began her football journey two years ago, seeking a new challenge and an opportunity to step outside her comfort zone. Annie has loved every minute of her time at the Hobart Football Club, valuing the friendships she’s made and the welcoming, supportive environment that defies the club.
With a focus on the club’s values of unity, development, integrity, community, passion and fun, I am looking forward to guiding the Women’s Masters team through another successful season and creating memorable and positive experiences for all involved.
We are still looking for players so if you are reading this and have been thinking about having a kick, trying something different or just want to meet some new people come along to pre-season which starts Thursday 20 November, 5.30pm at Campbell Street Primary School.
The sessions will go for an hour and focus on skills and small sided games which will be suitable for all fitness. levels.
