The Hobart Football Club is pleased to announce that Mark Beck will continue as the Senior Coach of the Hobart Football Club for the 2019 season. Mark Beck has the full support of the board in his role. Whilst the club acknowledges our disappointment on missing out on the finals, we firmly believe that Mark has the club headed in the right direction and that success is not too far away. Nathan Hartnett will also be taking on a new role as the Senior Assistant Coach. Nathan has coached our Under 18s side this year and previously at Brighton. We believe that this capable coaching team will lead the Tigers back to being a serious contender in the Southern Football League.
We’re also excited to announce that our inaugural SFLW side Coach Claire Sutton will continue in her role for the 2019 season. Once again, we are glad to have her back on board with the club as the Girls look to improve on their first season.
Best & Fairest
A reminder that RSVPs and payment are due by NEXT TUESDAY 25th September (see below flyer).
Support The Tigers
We’re calling on you to support our sponsors at the Telstra Store Cat & Fiddle.
We need you to call the store on (03) 6231 1093, stating you are from the Hobart Football Club and wish to make an appointment to come in and see them.
The appointment doesn’t require you to commit to a plan or spend any money, and it still supports the club even if you don’t spend any money. We need as many people as possible to attend before the end of September to ensure Telstra continues their valued sponsorship of our club. Plus as an added bonus you’ll score a free double movie pass!
Save the Date
This year’s Volunteers Recognition Day is on Sunday 21st October – please save the date.
